Westgarth is a delightful stone-built cottage set in the attractive
old brewery courtyard of Ovington, facing west, overlooking open
countryside.
Westgarth has full oil-fired central heating. Use of log fire on
request. The cottage is spacious and is well equipped to accommodate
four persons.
- Ground floor:- Sitting room with television and video.
Dining room. Kitchen - dishwasher, fridge, electric hob/oven,
microwave, washing machine/dryer. Cloakroom with WC and wash hand
basin.
- First floor:- Two bedrooms, (one double, one twin). Bathroom

Parking is 'off road' at front of cottage. Patio garden to rear.
No smoking. No pets.
Easily accessible from the A69, Westgarth provides an excellent
base for exploring the beauty and history of Northumberland, Hadrian's
Wall and Hexham (9 miles), the award winning 'favourite market
town' of England 2005.
Walks from Ovington to Bywell. River Tyne walk from Low Prudhoe,
fishing etc. Also Prudhoe Castle - English Heritage.
There are regular bus services from the village to Newcastle upon
Tyne and the Metro Centre, Gateshead, together with train services
from Prudhoe (2 miles).
